What are the rules for flare guns acquisition?

Unfortunatly, laws are different from a country to another.
Nevertheless, in France, you'll need to be 18 years old but you can't wear it in the street. So free for having at home.

About ammunitions.

In France, all the different kind of flare cartridges are free for hold except explosive cartridges.

By the way, we wouldn't recommend to shoot and fire old original flare cartridges (more than 60 years old)
Just keep in mind, that during WWII, flare cartridges had already an expiry date (usually 3 or 4 years after having been manufactured).
